• By enrolling in Lumbee River EMC’s Connect My Thermostat offering within our Connect to Save program, you will join thousands of your neighbors in achieving benefits for your home and our whole community. You'll receive $50 up front, then an additional $50 for each year you participate.
  
  
• Your participation also enhances power grid reliability and provides wholesale power cost savings to cooperative members by using the grid more efficiently.
  
  
• When high demand for electricity is expected, your thermostat may be automatically adjusted up to three degrees. Your home may be heated or cooled in advance, and most members don't notice a difference when these adjustments take place.
  
  
• You can always opt out of adjustments if you'd like. To receive your $50 reward, we ask that you opt of out no more than five times per year.
