What is Connect to Save?

Connect to Save is offered by your electric cooperative to help residential members use energy smarter and more efficiently—without sacrificing comfort. Using your smart thermostat, and optional water heater device, Connect to Save will automatically manage your energy use on select days (or “events”) when electric demand is high, or nearing peak demand. As a bonus, you will also receive a $50 annual incentive for each year you participate.

What to expect during installation?

Our visit should last between 1 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on the devices to be installed. The installer will perform the following services during that time:

  • Install smart thermostat

  • Install water heater intelligent switch (if selected and eligible)

  • Connect the device to existing Wi-Fi network and perform first-time setup

  • Demostrate how to operate the new device
